Social network VKontakte says to launch own e-mail service
MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Russian social network VKontakte, owned by Internet company Mail.ru Group, will launch its own mail service VK Pochta for the network’s users, VK said on Tuesday in a statement.
“By the beginning of the new school year, the VK ecosystem will have VK Pochta, a service to exchange letters…The new product is for the audience of social network VKontakte, which needs technological and customized mail for work and studying,” the statement read.
The users will get e-mails with short domain @vk.com.
